Adelman Peony Farm – Salem, OR – Spring 2019

We ventured to the Land of Magical Flowers, AKA Adelman Peony Farm in Salem for the first time last spring. I’m writing this a couple weeks after going our second time, so stay tuned for more fun pics! haha … There’s easily a million photos in this post so have fun scrolling!

I’ve probably hit my limit on dressing Noah in whatever I want for “adventure photos”…. he’s already v opinionated about what he DOESN’T want to wear lol… He’s currently in the “can I take my shirt off” state, but that’s besides the point.

Last year we had some nice overcast weather so it made for some gorgeous portraits. The peonies were incredible – some the size of our heads and smells of heaven wafted among us. What you can’t tell is that it was a really really difficult parenting day with Noah, my youngest, who was a month shy of turning 2. He basically ran from me and screamed the entire time lol. BUT I was thankfully able to snap some keepers. 🙂

Don’t hesitate to make a trip to the Adelman Peony Farm – it’s free entry and they also have a small nursery area of various peonies plants for sale, a beautiful groomed garden to walk around (in addition to the huge fields of flowers), as well as, HUGE cut stems to buy. Of course, we couldn’t leave without a handful. We are so grateful for beautiful places like this that share their land/experience with the public.
