Noah is One | First Birthday Party | July 4th 2018 | Portland, Oregon

Our sweet (& wild) Noah turned ONE! We threw a small-ish party on July 4th (since he was born ONE and a HALF hours after July 4th). Would it be terrible to tell him his birthday is on July 4th? Hah jk. Kinda.   We had some close friends and their kiddos come over for a hamburger and hotdog lunch, followed by some delicious lemon blueberry cupcakes (and of course a flag decorated cake, b/c it’s not July 4th without one).  It was such weird weather… there was this this overcast warm humidity all day, but we were blessed with good weather for all the kiddos to play outside in the big inflatable pool and the adults played some corn hole.

I was determined to make the monogrammed onesie-bubble I had custom made for Noah fit, but as you can see it’s a big large lol. He’s still such a cutie, though, right?  Also, I must stay the Dollar Tree is THE spot for basic party supplies. How am I just finding that out this year? They had some decent stuff (paper puff balls, banners, balloons, flags, table decor, paper goods, etc…)  Watermelon slices on a stick is also a great summer kid snack – you’re welcome. 😉

So grateful I have friends who can grab my camera and snap a few of us and get everyone in focus! 🙂 Thanks, Seth!
