There’s this adorable yellow classic victorian style home on the top of a hill with a front and back porch overlooking some of my favorite farm/rolling hills views on the edge of Tigard/ Sherwood/ Beaverton that’s on our way to local farms less than 10 minutes from us.  Little did I know I would one day be photographing the sweet family that lives in that yellow house.   When Jessica told me they hadn’t ever done family portraits before I was so excited to bless them with this gift! It’s never too late to start investing in family portraiture!  We walked around the property when I first arrived and learned that it was once used for farm animals (a milking shed, potting shed, wood shed) and there is even a small orchard on the property (where I was greeted by a momma deer and her two youngins’ having a dinner snack as I was leaving).  Her husband had just installed a beautiful tree swing for her birthday so, of course we incorporated it into their portrait session. Just a few weeks after their session, they celebrated 20 year of marriage! Spending time with their two boys who are several years older than my boys respectfully, reminded me of the joys and fun we have ahead of us with our boys.  Here’s some of my favorites from their session….
