Cam and Field Day. That’s exactly what it was… a field day. Talk about a good work out! Try chasing a batch of toddlers/babies around a yard filled with colored flags, balloons, game stations, a bubble machine, and edible goodies. Oh, and a photo station. While carrying a 5 lb camera in 90 degree Texas heat. It was so much fun! Cam and Field turned 1 this week! Happy Birthday, Cam and Field! I hope you enjoy all these fun photos of your first party one day.
This fun party took a village to pull it together. Literally. Christina with Gatsby / Switch Creative helped with the decorations, t-shirts, all printed items, and the overall “theme”. Justin with Gatsby / Switch helped design & develop the website (I know.. the party had it’s own website!) www.CamandFieldDay.com . Ashaun (with Switch Creative) helped hand-draw the “Cam & Field Day 2010” logo on the chalk board in the boy’s bedroom for people to sign (like a guest book.) What a great idea! And the photos + photo station at the party were provided by yours truly. Glen and Alice (parents of Cam and Field) of course provided their wonderful home and adorable back yard and great planning to pull this off. Way to go team!
There were SO many adorable / hilarious photos from the birthday party, that this will be 1 of 2 blog entries. If you want to view ALL the PROOFS from the party go here.
Now for the yummy goodies…. Snacks for Kids. Snacks for Adults. Cam is allergic to eggs apparently, so his aunt made both of these (delectable) egg-less birthday cakes. I wish she’d make me one.
Stay tuned for Part II to come tomorrow….
