The moment I approached the house and saw a petting zoo vehicle parked in the driveway, I knew it was going to be a good party- regardless if it was for a baby! From the color coordinated straws and monogrammed cups, to the over sized red white and blue balloons, to the delicious 18th & Vine homemade (Kansas City BBQ) – everything was perfectly planned. It was Jack’s first birthday party.

I had the pleasure of photographing Jack’s (fun) birthday party last weekend and Brian was a saint for helping me.  All the babies /guests were so adorable and well dressed. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food, petting zoo, and my photo station! Yep – I set up my photo station in the back yard.  Brooke (Jack’s mom) did an amazing job at planning and coordinating everything. It was perfect! She created cute little blue bags that housed mouth watering chocolate chip cookies, and she hand-made pipe cleaner bubble wands with a canister of bubbles as party favors. Jack even had his own custom bib and little mini-cake with a candle.  Next time I need to plan/decorate a stylish party, I know who to call.
