Erin + Reiner Dallas, TX Engagement Session

This is way overdue… but this was one of my favorite engagement sessions! Please welcome, Erin & Reiner…. Erin and I first met our Freshman year at TCU (Go Frogs!) and have been great friends ever since.

During my photography work trips to Dallas, Erin would so gracious host me for a few days. I still remember the first time she told me about Reiner… “We’re just friends, etc…” yeah, you are ;). I knew it from the moment I first saw them together (this was months later). He brought over some champagne while we watched our friend’s husband accept a Hollywood award on TV….. I could tell he was smitten with her and she just didn’t truly know it yet. Fast forward a few months later and they’re traveling the world together (Paris and various parts of Europe). After that trip they announced they were dating. DUH!!! hah…

Anyway, it was a huge honor and privilege to document this special time for them. We had a blast hoppin around to their favorite Dallas hangouts. We started at Klyde Warren Park downtown… of course with Champagne. They rode their bikes for a bit and we looped around to the Modern (Museum) before heading over to CORK (wine bar), and then to some fun colorful murals in Uptown, ending at a cute little gazebo in Highland Park.

Reiner actually proposed to Erin at CORK. They spend several evenings a week at CORK sharing bottles of wine with friends, while playing various game together (I know, how cute!). He proposed during one of those evenings… so, we thought it’d be special to snap some of them just ‘doing life’ around Dallas – my favorite kinds of sessions!! I LOVE capturing people in their element… they come alive, forget I’m there, and just plain have fun! Hope you enjoy 🙂
