One good thing about being in a quarantine is we have more time at home. We definitely enjoy being home, but also love adventuring with a splash of spontaneity. I sure miss exploring Portland in the Spring, but being home more has allowed me more freedom and space to grab my camera and document our every day life more than I have in the last year. Most of my “big camera” documentation the last year has been when we’re out adventuring. It’s so nice to have these memories of my boys just playing at home – messy room and all.
Just days after I shot this video of Noah playing in his room we had a slight medical emergency with Noah (of course while my husband was still offshore – 2 days away from coming home from a 3 week hitch)! Nothing like a jolt to the mama heart to remind you of the gift of life. Thank God he’s ok. It was scary, but we survived and are waiting on some tests to come back from the doctor. Until then, enjoy this silly video of my Noah just being very TWO. 🙂
Here are some of my favorite shots from our time playing at home.
