There’s something so special about capturing motherhood that just makes my heart skip a beat. This was such a dreamy motherhood portrait session in one of the neatest (hidden to me) parks in NW Portland. You could see Mt. St. Helens AND Mt. Hood from the top of the park and it was littered with beautiful trees boasting their Spring blooms.  When I think of a park I want to lie under a tree and picnic for an entire afternoon, I dream of this park.

During our pre-session consultation call Hyland informed me that her daughter was “very into fairies” at the moment. I encouraged her to bring her favorite fairy attire so we could embrace it and document this sweet season that she’s in. If romping through a flower field in a rainbow colored fairy cape doesn’t scream CHILDHOOD, I don’t know what does?! 🙂  We got some adorable mother daughter images, as well as, individuals and some of them just playing together.  Anyway, here are some of the sweet images from our time frolicking in the park.
