RaRa Visits Portland // Sept. 2015 (Part I)

My mom AKA RaRa visited us the first week of September and we took her on an adventure around Portland for a week. The first day we hit the waterfront Downtown, ate brunch at one of our favorites (Mothers Bistro), took a ride on the train across the Willamette and walked a few miles around the NE side of town. It was a fun filled day!

The next day, we ventured to the Portland International Rose Garden since RaRa loves roses! We stopped at the huge playground just down the hill from the garden first. Note: trying to navigate a large BOB stroller around the garden is a little challenging, but can be done. I guess the last couple of times we’ve been, Brian usually helps lift over the stairs. They were filming an episode of  The Librarians while we were there so part of the gardens were closed off and we had to be quiet. We still enjoyed our picnic lunch in the amphitheater area with the sun shining down on us.  Stay tuned for another blog included fun RaRa filled adventures!    Here are photos from the first couple days of her visit.
