RaRa Visits Portland // Sept. 2015 (Part II)

My mom visited us the first week of September and we had a fun filled adventurous week showing her some of our favorite places around Portland. Check out Part one here to see our other adventures.  This is one of our favorite parks in SW Portland – Marshall Park. Who’da thunk you were in the middle of the city at this park?! There’s a new play structure for kiddos, along with a “natural” play structure made from huge tree trunks, etc… There’s also picnic tables and several bridges over Tryon creek that runs throughout the park. You can take a couple short hikes around the outskirts of the park, too! A very multifaceted park.   I’ll be doing some mini sessions here in November so, contact me if you’re interested!

We followed up our fun jaunt at the park with dinner at one of my favorite places (with quality ingredients!), Laughing Planet, and then FroYo nextdoor to that! Brady LOVES the dinosaur toys at Laughing Planet and of course, was pleased with FroYo.
