Barrett’s 4 Year Old Portrait Session: Dallas, TX

This year I donated a portrait session and some goodies to the UPUMC Day School Silent Auction.  I was so grateful to have sweet little 4 year old Barrett in front of my camera as his momma was the highest bidder! We played in the front yard of a beautiful Highland Park historical home. Barefoot Barrett and I played with rollie pollies and explored the various landscaping we had to chose from. He was such a good sport and fun to photograph! Here are some of my favorites below. Barrett’s mom decided to go with a 24×24 framed with a matted 20×20 print of him sitting in front of the front door.  I loved when she said “Please do NOT retouch his photo” – meaning she wanted to remember him skinned knees and all at this age. THAT’S my kind of client! Of course it’s nice to have special more formal portraits, but I think it’s so important to capture children as they are, bruises, cuts, dirt on their faces, etc….  Thanks for letting me photograph your beautiful son, Kristin!
