The Heart of Christmas- Hank Hanegraaff

My dad gave me the 25-day devotional, “The Heart of Christmas,” by Hank Hanegraaff (the “Bible answer man.”)  This devotional helps us to focus on the true meaning of CHRISTMAS.  It pulls from the scriptures and includes  a carol or hymn for each day. I wanted to share today’s Christmas Carol “Joy to the World.” Try to see and receive/understand the meaning of each word/stanza. It is truly a beautiful song.

Joy to the world! The Lord is come.
Let earth receive her King
Let every heart
Prepare Him room

And Heaven and nature sing
And Heaven and nature sing
And Heaven and Heaven and nature sing

Joy to the earth! The Saviour reigns
Let men their songs employ
While fields and floods
Rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat, Repeat, the sounding joy

No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found,
Far as the curse is found,
Far as, far as the curse is found.

He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations proove
The glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love;
And wonders of His love;
And wonders, wonders of His love.
