I really enjoy living in Dallas, but I do NOT enjoy the allergies that come with it. About 3 weeks ago I started feeling the symptoms of a cold….which only got worse. 2 weeks into it things calmed down a bit. The last week and a half have been pure allergies and sinus problems. What I meant to say was it’s all been PURE FUN. Psyche!

What I don’t understand is why you have to take an entire day or half day to visit the doctor to get prescribed something that should be over the counter! Well there’s a solution folks! It’s called Brazil. JK (kinda) In the states it’s called, MINUTE CLINIC. (*Crowd cheers!*)  Various CVS pharmacies house these “doc in a box” clinics staffed with a nurse practitioner who can diagnose and prescribe you some good ole drugs all for the same cost of visiting your PCP or doctor in less time (15 min). Needless to say, this is exactly what I did directly after work yesterday. Hopefully all this junk will dissapte in the next couple of days. I am not a big fan of America’s health care system today, but I AM a fan of Minute Clinics in times like these! Yes, the idea of ‘drive through’ health care may be in a current boom  and may fade, but I’m all for it if you just need anitbiotics for a cold and don’t have the time for a doctor visit.  It seems to be that time of season for everyone to get sick…so take care of yourself!
