SO it’s been a couple of days since I last wrote. Woops. I’ve been busy.

Friday was my 22nd birthday! I’m a REAL adult now. Oh, how my life flies by! It is always so nice this time of year because I recieve bouqets of flowers from various people 🙂 (Thank you!!!) Note to girls: keep him around if he includes a Jane Austen quote on the notecard hidden in the flowers! My awesome roommate, Mary, also surprised me at work with the best cookies ever, from JD’s Chippery in Dallas.My mom, grandma (Gammy), and cousin- Danielle, came up to Dallas for the weekend. We went to dinner at Gloria’s with 1 of my roommies, my other cousin- Kristin, her husband, and baby on Friday night.

Saturday we went shopping at the Galleria  next door and then played in the pool at my place. Scarlett and I had a lot of fun in the water. I wish someone would pull me around in an “adult floatie.”   

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Gammy treated the girls to a smoothie at Fat Straws (Bubble Tea)– my new favorite place, located on the first floor of my apartment complex. I was surprised to find out that I like the little “bubbles” they put in the bottom of the smoothie, which is apparently tapioca- sick! (but sooo good.) Saturday night Mom, Gammy, Danielle, and I ate dinner at Carrabba’s– gosh it was good! I’m still eating left overs.

Opening bday presents…

Sunday I picked up my friend, Anna, from the airport in which I was greeted with open arms and a sweet snow globe from Salt Lake City, Utah! Whooo! That sucker’s going on my book shelf!  We went to The Village Church’s 5 PM service. Matt Chandler spoke about the “Role of Men; Defining Masculinity…”  AKA: The Biblical Husband.  He’s so hilarious! I’m pretty sure I laughed so hard I was crying at least 3 times.
