So maybe I’m writing this a year later, but alas, it’s documented! We started a new annual back to school tradition of going on an apple picking date together at the local “short orchard” about 15 min from us. (You can view the 2nd Annual Apple Picking Date here.) They grow our favorite Honey Crisp variety! Last year we made the most delicious apple pie from our bounty… it was drool worthy! Here’s some pics from our adventure date…. Do you “date” your kids? It’s been such a good thing for us, especially since having another child.
