This family is the best. I photographed their engagement photos and the next month photographed their family portraits. What a privilege! The love they have for each other is amazing. They’re a “blended family” and you’d have NO idea based on the way they treat each other and love on each other. Really cool how they’re beating those stereotypes of “blended families” where it can be challenging and awkward. Did I mention how well behaved the kids are, too?! We went to one of my favorite nearby places to hike in the city, which also has a great playground for kiddos! It’s a good mix of wide open spaces (cue the Dixie Chicks) and a few spots of typical portland very green fern covered forest.   My favorite image is of the sisters holding hands and whispering secrets into each other’s ears.  And the one of Jorge holding his youngest son on his shoulders – ah, just the look in his eyes. Ok.. I have a lot of favorites… check ‘em out.
