Waterfront // Downtown, Portland, Oregon (Feb 2016)

We took advantage of the nearly perfect weather one Saturday evening and headed to the waterfront downtown. I was on a madd hunt for the blooming cherry blossoms. Turns out we were about a 1/4 mile down from them jusssst far enough to NOT find them.  I felt CRAZY. People had been posting photos of them on Instagram and someone told me that’s where they’d be. It wouldn’t be until a couple weeks later I’d return to the CORRECT spot (where I hung out many times this summer – just didn’t realize they were cherry blossom tress during that season).  Regardless, we enjoyed our family stroll and Brady loved watching the boats and collecting sticks (per usual).  George even enjoyed himself, too.

What a blessing we have such easy access to a beautiful spot in our city! Portland for the win!
