Last Wednesday  (8/08) at 3:30 am I woke up to Brian on his phone “Hey man, yea, let me put some clothes on and I’ll be right there.” He sounded so alert, I was so confused. I grogilly asked him where he was going and he said “I’m going to Judy and Micheal’s. I guess Millie is on her way.” I smiled and thanked him for going over there. Judy and Michael live just a couple blocks from us and have become great friends through our church home group. We planned for one of us to be with their little girl, Lucy, until Michael’s parents could get to their house so that Michael and Judy could get to the hospital in time whenever she went into labor.  I don’t remember him coming home and getting back in bed, but by the time my alarm went off at 6:30 am, I had a text from Judy that said “Millie is here”.  GOOD LORD she’s blessed with quick labors.  She only labored for a couple hours total and had just enough time to get an epidural before pushing Milie into this world!

Brian and I went to the hospital on day two that Millie had been there. She is the tiniest most adorable little newborn. Her cheeks are so perfect and round. She looks SO much like Lucy did when she was born. Here are some sweet photos of our hospital visit. Congrats Michael and Judy!!
