HOW FAR ALONG? 30 weeks…. only 10 ish weeks left.

SIZE OF OUR SWEET BABY? Butternut Squash (about 17 inches head to heal, and about 3 lbs).

MATERNITY CLOTHES?  Yep. Still rockin’ them. But surprisingly the dress in this photo is NOT a maternity dress :).

GENDER: BOY

SLEEP?  It’s been ok. Still vivid dreams. Just glad to be back in my own bed… I feel like I’ve been out of town so much lately.

FOOD CRAVINGS? Sweets. Cheese (all kinds!)

WHAT I MISS?  Exercising outside at the lake. There have been 9 deadly cases of West Nile in the area, so I’ve steered clear (and haven’t had time).

SYMPTOMS? (Same.) Achey and swollen feet. Super strong & fast growing finger nails. Less oily skin (which I’ve enjoyed). And every now and then my lower back is achey and I’ve been a bit short of breathe lately. Also, very frequent trips to the ladies room since Brady uses my bladder as a squish toy.

BELLY BUTTON? (Same as last week.) SO stretched out. It’s as flat as can be with a tiny part that’s starting to pop out. Also starting to get that linea negra (weird tan vertical line below my belly button).

BEST MOMENT(S) OF THE PAST COUPLE OF WEEKS?

1. Spending time with so many family and friends lately between baby showers and out of town trips.

2. Realizing that I was 30 weeks along and that means only 10 more weeks left until our lives are really changed big time! I’ve literally been so busy lately that I lost track of time and didn’t realize how far we were.

3. My baby shower in Katy that was so graciously hosted by my mom’s long time friends (20+ years).  It was so fun seeing some high school friends I haven’t seen in at least a year! It’s great how we just end up laughing so hard we cry and can pick up right where we left off. I am so grateful to all my family and friends who have been so supportive and poured out their love on us through this journey. (Thank you!)
