We recently celebrated our friend’s adorable little girl, Lucy’s 1st birthday. She was the belle of the ball in her pink polka dotted dress (and baby skinny jeans) with pink streamers and balloons in her background. It was just the right amount of pink without over doing it. Her mom made the most amazing tiny strawberry cakes in petite mason jars. I almost ate two. Almost.  She also displayed delicious fresh fruit and thirst quenching lemonade with ice cubes in frozen into cute little shapes with fruit in the middle. Yep. They were a tasty treat once you finished your drink and bit into the ice cubes.

After opening presents and singing Lucy happy birthday, the kids played with bubbles, balloons, and sidewalk chalk. Oh, and the boys (big and small) tossed the football.  The weather couldn’t have been more perfect. Happy 1st birthday, Lucy!
