I had the privilege of taking the Ray Family photos at the Dallas Arboretum on Saturday afternoon. It was one of the most beautiful weather days we’ve had in a while… Fall was truly rolling in… and so was an un-planned rainy afternoon. Kelsey, my friend / assistant for the afternoon and I arrived at the Dallas Arboretum around 3 pm, an hour early. About 30 minutes before the family arrived, it was a steady rain. Woops!  We didn’t expect rain until Sunday.

Thankfully we found a tree-covered hide out and it turned out to actually a beautiful area to shoot the photos. It worked out better than we originally planned. Yay!
