I’ve been a little behind on blogging lately. My blog posts have mostly been saturated with posting photos from recent photo gigs/events, etc.. and not much “writing.” But that’s ok with me- it means I’m taking more pictures! Here are some photos from a wedding I helped  Carissa Byers shoot. It was a fun wedding that flew by. The couple was very relaxed and easy going, which made our job fun! It was a lot of fun shooting with Carissa and she produces some really beautiful images!!  My job was to shoot the guys/groom getting ready before hand at the groom’s house (while the girls dressed at a different location), and basically document the men the rest of the day. I have to admit, it wasn’t as much fun as shooting girls getting ready. Surprisingly enough it took the guys a whopping 30 minutes to get showered/dressed. They also don’t have as many “accessories” to get detailed shots of. Bummer- but they were still fun to talk with and take photos of! I got to hear about past bachelor parties, sports stats, previous groomsmen’s weddings, etc.. The ceremony was at the beautiful Cathedral Guadalupe Church in Downtown Dallas, followed by the reception at the Cooper Clinic in Dallas.
