I’ve ordered items from JCPenney before and the box arrived in OK shape. I’m sure this isn’t necessarily JCPenney’s fault, but they could have done a better job packaging the innerds of the shipped box. Whenever I received my order my jaw dropped and I immediately thought, “Holy crap, did I order anything breakable?!” The shipping guy must have dropped my packaged and run over several times before realizing it- hmm… Gee, that’s not very nice! Of course, the ONE TIME I order gift wrapping (which sucks anyway) my package gets destroyed in the process. Awesome. I thought maybe there was a chance the item that was gift wrapped inside of the packaging was somehow preserved. NOPE. It had 4 measly air-pockets to “help protect it.” I hate packing-peanuts, but they could have at least floated the gift in those. NOPE. Instead, it looks like a very angry elf or FedEx guy intercepted and delivered my package. Ok guys, where’s the hidden camera?! Instead of getting mad and demanding a refund, I couldn’t help but laugh. It’s going to be pretty funny to hand over the present to the recipient on Christmas…. as I chuckle. “Here’s your gift. With LOVE.” You know they will accept it with gratitude as if it was the nicest thing I could give them, just like you do when accepting awkward/outdated gifts from grandma. Merry Christmas!
