Galveston Beach Family Reunion 2008

Click on the slide show to view larger!! These photos are from the annual family reunion- this year it was in Galveston… I wish we could have stayed the entire week, but 4 days was perfect. I love hanging out with my cousins and family- can’t wait until next year!! It was a great mental break from work, and “normal” life. Each morning Brian and I woke up and had about a 30-45 minute walk/massive sweat on the beach before joining the rest of the family for a refreshing breakfast, then swimming w/ the fam, laid out pool side, ate a light lunch, snacked most of the afternoon (we ate on the schedule of a baby- every 2 hrs), jelly beans seemed to be the featured snack of the weekend, rested, got cleaned up, ate again for a big dinner, rested some more. Some days we saw a movie, shopped on the strand, played on the beach, ate lots of Blue Bell ice cream (as we do every year). It was a great long weekend…. and the weather turned out to be great! (Hot, but great!) The Tropical Storm, Edouard, passed through a couple days before we arrived, thankfully. I’m going to start my paper-chain countdown for next year when I get done posting this. Hah…

I have the most beautiful children in the world-both inside and out. Their choices for friends are pretty good also. Thanks for the memories of a great week in Galveston. Love you xoxoxox

I had a blast as usual.
Love to all. Mom, you are the greatest to gather us all.
