The Village Church – TRANSFORM DALLAS – June

I’ve been a bit behind on posting photos…. woops!
These photos aren’t great quality, but it gives you an idea… My church, The Village Church, has a community volunteer project 1 Saturday each month this summer. I am assigned to the DALLAS location, Charles Rice Elementary. It is an old building that is in OK shape, but of course could use a bit of a make over. My group was assigned to repaint a classroom. We had a substantial amount of help in our group, so it went quickly. A few girls from my Home Group came and helped out with my group too! We got to paint the room white and one wall RED- woohoo! In my last apartment I painted our living room wall Red, and in my new apt I left all my walls white. Maybe this was God helping me get that urge out to repaint my wall red in my new apartment. hah…

Mmm.. RED paint!

I am in interested and I want to here more. My girls will like a church they have something to do – especially painting. Do you have teens ministry or a vibrant youth church?
And how many middle aged women attend your church from the international community living in Dallas?

    Hi Norah,
Yes, the Village Church is a wonderful church home, and I have grown so much in the past 2 years and since becoming a member. There are plenty of activities for children, teens, and families throughout the year at the church. Here is a link to the Middle School ministry on the church’s website: http://hv.thevillagechurch.net/middle-school
As for how many middle aged women who attend our church, I am not exactly sure. Although our church is mostly a “young” demographic, we all come from different backgrounds/ethnicities, etc… Please feel free to contact the “Connections” staff at the church, as they could help you connect within the church community. http://hv.thevillagechurch.net/staff/connections
I hope to see you around!
