Watch the video of Gus learning to like the pool water for the first time! You know when you see a kitten pawing at a string or toy and you can’t help but giggle or shout out “Awww!” – well that’s exactly how I felt as I watched Gus paw at the water trying to figure it out as he learned to take puppy steps.

The video below is of Gus right after he got pushed in by his daddy…. we were worried for what seemed like 5 minutes, but in reality was just 3 SUPER LONG seconds while he was underwater slowly sinking probably thinking about what to do next… but he quickly began to move his paws and figured out how to use them as propellers! We were so happy to see him swimming on his own! …and you can tell by my obnoxious giggle and voice.
