Monday night I treated Brian and me to a Dallas Maverick’s game for his birthday. It was a lot of fun!! We both left work a little early so we could beat traffic and the sports crowd. We ate dinner at a cool/trendy Mexican restaurant right next to the arena. It was a great choice to eat there b/c it was practically open-air, and the weather was so perfect. We sat facing the side of the restaurant that was open to the outside. We got to enjoy our dinner and drinks and leisurely people watched (which is one of our fav hobbies) before venturing into the arena for the game.

We had pretty good seats and some interesting folks sitting near us. The players looked like giants effortlessly taking a few steps to get across the court and back…it was ridiculous! It was a good game… the Mavs beat the Knicks – no big deal. I was hoping for more of a challenge, but either way it was a great time!
