I recently photographed a very small beautiful intimate wedding at the SMU Cox Chapel at HPUMC in Dallas, TX. The family was so fun to work with and talk about a relaxed bride! This was both of their second marriage’s, and they seem so great for each other. Combined they are forming a family of 7 (2 adults and 5 kids)!
The ceremony was strictly for family only (brothers, sisters, parents, nieces, nephews, and grandparents). Lizzie arrived with her 3 precious little boys and got dressed in the bride’s suite. Jay’s daughter and son also came in and out of the suite to play with the other kids. Little did Lizzie know that Jay had surprised her by having the chapel showered in the most beautiful flowers by Dr. Delphinium. Way to go, Jay!
Lizzie was one of the most beautiful and laid back brides I’ve ever encountered. The family was a joy to work with! Lizzie and Jay, I wish the best for you and your family. Here are some of my favorite photos from the ceremony.
Last weekend I had the honor of photographing Lizzie and Jay’s wedding here in Dallas, TX at the HPUMC SMU Cox Chapel. She was quite a beautiful bride and so relaxed. They each have adorable children (she has 3 little boys, and he has a boy and a girl) and together they are making a decent sized beautiful family! Here’s a sneak peek of pretty Lizzie.
One of my high school best friends, Brittany, got married a couple months ago to Chris. Chris also went to high school with us and lived less than a block away from Brittany growing up. Who knew they’d get married?! They got married in the beautiful town of Horseshoe Bay, TX (near Austin). The church they were married in overlooked the beautiful bright blue bay, and the reception was held at the Horseshoe Bay Resort (which was also beautiful!) Her mom helped plan most of it and she did an amazing job. Her sisters were her brides maids and our friend, Jenna, and I read scripture during the ceremony. Brittany, you made a beautiful bride!!
Here are some of my favorites from the weekend. Note: I was not the hired photographer, these are just personal shots.
