It’s hard to believe these cute little babies just celebrated their 1st birthday. It’s been such a joy to watch Justin & Christina care and love for their adorable triplets. Christina used to work with us at Switch, so I also got the privilege of watching the progression of her pregnancy, which seems like just yesterday.

Christina headed up all the decorations for the wonderful party. Seeing that she’s a graphic designer and naturally crafty, the decorations were just perfect and well thought out. Oh, and don’t get me started on the food. Party food (finger snack food) is my all time favorite, so naturally I snuck back to the snack table often. There was lots of family present to celebrate and even Christina’s little nephew, Grant, was there to celebrate. The last time I saw him was during his newborn shoot! He’s grown into such an adorable little boy with killer blue eyes.

Anyway, below are my favorite photos from the party. WARNING: there are lots of photos… My super favorites are probably from the photo booth and cupcake time.

Oliver, Zoey and Quinn – I hope you had a wonderful 1st birthday party! Y’all have grown into such cute babies over the past year, I’m excited to see how much more your personalities develop this next year!

I watched as the UPS man approached the door with the box in-hand. I threw the door open with a huge smile on my face, because I was so excited to see what was in the box. It was the KISS album I designed for my client.

I ripped open the box and slowly pulled out the 8×8 cloth-wrapped album. It was beautiful. This album was bound in white leather and housed sweet images of the Evans’ newborn, Cameron, and toddler, Elliot.

The customer experience/service through KISS is wonderful. It’s timely, efficient, open communication, precise, high quality, and super simple.  Overall, I am very pleased and I hope that the Evans’ are too!

Thanks, Amanda! I like to keep it clean and let the photos speak for themselves.

Last night was the second stop of Jasmine Star’s “The Fix” tour in Dallas, Tx.  I came straight from work and met a friend, so I didn’t arrive in time to stand in the outrageously long line of other photographers that wanted their photo with her. It was like we were at a celebrity event. Crazy. I had no idea there were going to be that many folks (200). Some traveled all the way from Mexio, OKC, Austin, etc… I was grateful I didn’t have to travel far and spend too much money to attend the special evening. I have been wanting to attend one of her workshops for a while, just couldn’t justify the cost/travel expenses to California. (Although, truthfully I love California and would find any excuse to go back.)

Anyway, last night was great. It was hosted at the swanky The Apartment in Dallas. There were drinks served throughout the night, but we spent a good several hours listening to Jasmine give some great advice, and walk through some interesting Q&A sessions.  We even ran into a friend we met at the last workshop we attended together. Overall, it was a great time and Jasmine is the same in person as you would expect. Bubbly, educated, passionate, humble, and funny!
